Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: rounded bolt heads, power steering pump, alternator

Question
Chuck,
I need to replace the alternator on a 94 saturn. To get at the alternator bolts one needs to remove the Power Steering Pump, unfortunately someone has rounded the bolt heads on the PSP. It is a very cramped area so its not possible to beat a smaller socket on the bolt. How could I remove these bolts so I could r&r the alternator?
Thanks
Arthur

Answer
there are special sockets for your case. they are "twist sockets" they are available from any tool dealer, also craftsman has a more affordable set. what they do is "dig in" to the rounded surface as turned counterclockwise actually biting more the harder you turn. these are very effective. of course replace the bolts when going back on.
