Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: need abs help, pontiac grand prix, abs light

hi, i just changed the front pads and rotors on my 99 pontiac grand prix and still the ABS light stays on and the trac off light stays on. i cant seem to find any answers. i have a scan tool that purchased at auto zone and it tells me no faults detected. what can i do to solve this problem. i am mechanical capable just need a little direction and guidance.

Recheck the connections at each wheel where the small cable plugs in . Really make sure that it is plugged in real tight. If iot is loose just a fraction it will not make contact inside.

I have seen this so many times.
