Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: abs brakes 94 buick regal gs, rear disc brakes, caliper piston

Question
how do you compress the piston in rear caliper to be able to install nrw pads? what is the process

Answer
Hello Brian,
On many vehicles with rear disc brakes, there is a lever for the parking brake on the back side of the caliper/piston area. if you have that, then the piston needs to be screwed in. There is a little tool at "O"Reileys, or other parts houses, just for that. Costs about $11. but is a good investment as it will work on many different vehicles.
They might even loan you one if you buy your parts there.
