Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Air flow valve, coolant temp, cutlass supreme

Where is the air flow valve on the 1992 Cutlass
supreme SL 3.1 v6?

The engine will not continue to run and alot of black smoke is coming out the exhauts. I changed the plugs and wires. The fuel pump and filter were change last year.

Are you referring to the IAC valve or the INTAKE AIR SENSOR, an EGR problem, an Engine coolant temp sensor,  or what ?.

Plugs can be BLACK due to excessive fuel pressure, MAP sensor,  restricted air cleaner and numerous sensors or even the computer itself.


You need to get a professional diagnosis using the appropriate equipment in order to diagnose your problem.
