Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1991 buick century custom, buick century, strut

Question
I recently bought this vehicle and the front made some noise. I have changed the front struts and the noise still exists, could I have tightened the top strut nut too tight too the (mounting plate)?, I am not sure if that is the right name for it, it has the 3 bolt studs that attach to the body. It started to pull to the right so I changed it with a used one. The pull went away but the noise exists. Do I just need to buy some new ones?

Many alignment shops will look at it for free, and tell you what it needs. It will need an alignment afterwards anyway.

They will do the work for you, or you can do what they tell you it needs, and then take it back for the alignment.
