Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 92 buick century 3300 dies, throttle body injection, crank sensor

Question
My 92 buick century 3.3l v6 will take me about 10 miles and die. After which i have to prime the feul pump and pray that it starts sometimes taking 10+ tries. I changed the rear wheel fuel filter and nothing. the pump still gives the buzz and click when starting the car. Some say it could be the crank sensor some say its prolly the pump i dunno. the starter gets good fire and the motor rolls over just no feul or not enough. the problem started when my brother let the car run out of gas for about the 5th time. Thanx

Answer
Hello kenneth,
The running out of gas thing would have me checking the fuel pressure, first thing.
Depending on what type of injection system the engine has. Throttle body injection only needs about 13 PSI while running, but some of the other systems require much more, and they won't run without the pressure, so that is the place to start.
