Hi,
 My driver's door window made a loud CLANK a couple days ago when I closed the door, and I noticed the window was down about 1/3 (though I had not put it down).  
 I attempted to put it up, and it wouldn't go... it went a little up, and then down, and when I put it down, it would not come up again.
 I HEAR a motor when I attempt to close the window  now, but it does not move.
  WHAT do you think the problem is based on my description and HOW MUCH do you see something like this costing to repair?!?

With HUNDREDS of MAKES and YEARS and MODELS of vehicles, I have NO CLUE as to what you have.

You won't know what's wrong until they take off the door panel.

Could be something wrong with the window guides, the window motor or gear or in some models the plastic tape that runs thru the window motor gear and is attached to the window so as to make the window go up and down.
