Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: cooling fan, coolant temperature sensor, radiator cooling fan

Question
1992 Olds Cutlas Ciera - v-6.
when you shut the car off the radiator cooling fan doesn't shut off, and runs the battery down. Ideas ?

In most cases your problem is most likely either the :

1. Coolant temperature sensor/switch.
2. the coolant fan relay.
