Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Spark Plugs, olds alero, ac delco

Question
Billy,

sorry to bother you with such a small problem, however, I am completely ignorant when it comes to vehicles. I have a 2001 Olds Alero V6.  Changed the spark plugs and wires.  The auto parts gentleman said they were the correct spark plugs, however, my car is now running like crap and the service engine light is on.  Is this due to a gap problem?  Or did I screw something else up?  Thank you for your help.  Aaron

Answer
hi arron. well could be either. make sure though that the plugs you got the dealer reccomends and that will be ac delco plugs not the cheap stuff. make sure all wires are on the right cyl or plug and none are arching against the eng while running.there is a label under your hood that shows the plug arrangement be sure they are right.anytime  billymac
