hi mike, you said you had module tested and relaced the crank sensor.but did not mention the ignition coil.?your prob could be coil or distributor pick up.rotor.good luck let me know please rate my help billymac

hi again mike ,i read the year of your car wrong.sorry you have 3 coils 2 per cyl.check all the fuses and fuse links on the starter.normally 90 percent of the time this is ignition module or crank sensor.cranksensor cam sensor and module is the parts that fire this engine.but if a fuse has blown could shut down puter.rarely is it the ecm.i would take another look at that module mike because it sure sounds bad.good luck billymac

Answer
hi mike,if all fuses are good all connections are fine, you have a new cranksensor .and the auto zone test is inacurate at the very least.the ignition module is not working for whatever reason.if you take a volt tester leave crank sensor plugged in back probe the wires crank eng you should get a 5 volt ref pulse from one of the wires if so crank sensor is working.  go to ignition module.see if this same wire has 5 volts pulsing at module.if yes go to other side of plug on module wires going to coil packs if you only have 5 volt pulse going into module and none comeing out module circuit panel is shorted module is bad. or simply buy another module or go to junk yard and buy one a lot easier and all modules go out so nothing lost good luck billymac
