Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 94 cutlass wont start, security light, cutlass

My 94 cutlass will not start. It will not crank.  Battery is good and has been rechecked.  Plugs and wires are new.  Have 12 volts to starter.  Symptoms are it appears as if the car was in drive when turning the key.  Security light does go out, service engine stays on when turning key.  My guess is ignition relay or coils.  Have checked fuses. Want to eliminate something that may be simple first.

first try to reset the compuiter by takeing off the pos cable . it could be the seruity causeing this most time it is . and this is in the compuiter give it a try and let me know what happens leave pos cable off for atleast 3 min  please rate my serivice pete
