Question
Where is the fuel pump relay located in case the problem isn't the inertia switch?

Thanks,

I have an 87 Olds Ciera that won't start. I have checked all the fuses and checked for power at the pump. (There isn't any) The wiring diagram and info I have isn't much help. It shows the fuel pump circuit hooked directly to the ECM. Is there a relay in between or some other possible problem? If I give it a shot of ether it fires, so ignition isn't a problem.

Thanks,
Norm

Answer -
also check inertia switch under kick panel dr or passenger side this will power

Answer
HI NORM,WAS JUST RE READING MY ANSWER AND I SEE THE PUTER DROPPED ABOUT HALF OF IT.THIS RELAY WILL BE.EITHER ON THE FIREWALL AT BACK OF ENGINE OR DR SIDE FENDER.SOMETIMES THEY ARE LOCATED BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX THIS RELAY SHOULD BE GREEN OR HAVE A GREEN PLUG ON IT.BUT THERE IS A FUSE UNDER THE HOOD NEAR PASS SIDE OF RADIATOR. IN A PLASTIC COVER.GOOD LUCK BILLYMAC
