Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Alero 2002 - no start - ? anti-lock?, air plugs, system failure

Question
Hello

2002 Alero 2.2 ecotec - 4 sp Auto

I have had past anti-lock / tracktion lights come on - I just re-start the car and all would be good to go...

My question: is there a condition that the engine will start due to anti-lock sub-system failure - Should I service my engine or brakes ?

Dec 2004 attempt to start car engine sputter then just cranked - no-start -- pulled into garage (this mechanic did not have updated code readers for 2002 ecotec)did all tune-up fuel/air plugs/oil only

--- good to go but anti-lock / traction lights came on + this time the brake/parking light came on twice -
Now two weeks later same condition - no start in my driveway

What do you think ? - brakes causing the engine to go into "service/tow" situation due to brake sub-system failure?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated

Answer
hi len, well never heard of any prob that would cause a no start that would be connected to abs.i would be looking more into the ignition module or possibly cranksensor possibly fuel pump or relay these are some possibility,s .i would not worry about the abs.unless you see a red light for brake warning.good luck please rate my help.ty billymac
