Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Stalling and Bucking, oldsmobile cutlass calais, oldsmobile cutlass

Question
I have a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais with a 2.5L 4 Tech engine. When I first got the car in November of 2004 i didn't have any trouble with it. Then in January of this year, I was driving home when all of the lights came on and the car stalled right in the middle of the road. I managed to get it into the gas station parking lot and had it towed to the dealership. Their response was that there really was  nothing wrong. Later that week, I was getting ready to leave for work, I started the car and it idles extremely rough, and feels like it wants to die and cut out. When you finally get moving it bucks and carries on the entire way down the road. I have had the MAP sensor, the EGR valve and the TPS sensor replaced and it still does the same thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
HI AARON.WELL FIRST OF ALL FIND ANOTHER DEALER,LOL THEY SHOULD HAVE KWOWN YOU WOULD,NT HAVE HAD CAR TOWED IF NOT NESSACARY.THIS IS TYPICALLY ONE OF TWO THINGS.CRANKSENSOR OR FUEL PUMP .SOMETIMES IGNITION MODULE.GOES LIKE THIS IF IT IS CRANKSENSOR YOU WILL HAVE NO FIRE OR SPARK WHEN IT DIES.SAME WITH IGNITION MODULE.EXCEPT THE IGNITION MODULE CAN CAUSE ERATTIC DRIVEABILITY CONDITION.THE FUEL PUMP JUST SHUTS OFF AND WILL NOT PUMP FUEL .AND CAUSES ROUGH IDLE STALLING AND BUCKING.WHEN THE CAR WILL NOT RUN TURN KEY ON AND LISTEN TOWARD REAR OF CAR YOU SHOULD HEAR THE FUEL PUMP HUMMING FOR THREE SECONDS EACH TIME YOU CYCLE THE KEY.  IF NOT PUMP IS BAD.GOOD LUCK PLEASE RATE MY HELP TY BILLYMAC
