I have a 2001 frontier. while driving my insturment panel and headlights dimmed and the seatbelt and airbag lights got dim once i got home ande shut off engine it would not start again

It sounds like the alternator or battery have gone out.  Take the battery and get it charged and checked.  If you get it home and the truck runs go to Autozone or Checker and have them check the charging system as it sounds like the alternator has gone out to me.
