I do a lot of work on cars so i will know how to do the steps you tell me . and how long does it take to do the job Thanks again for your help pete

Answer
hi pete first raise and support the car.diconect the batterry....remove the starter........remove the oilpan bolts......... remove the pan ......clean the block very therally.buy the best gasket you can or may use rtv blavk sealer.if you use sealer put a 1\4 inch bead all the way around be sure there is no voids.when you put the pan up put two bolts in finger tight to hold it put all the bolts in before tightening any..use a cross patern .start in the middle go from one side to the other..that,s about it not a real hard job if you get hung up write back ty pete billymac
