Thanks.  I figured it must be in a hidden location. Getting the wiper motor out will be a trick on this car.  Know any tricks of the trade befodre I go attempt this.

Would you happen to know the location of the Wiper Pulse Board on a 1995 Olds Silhouette van.  My wipers are erratic, sometimes they keep running, even when turned off.  They will always start when switched on, but run erratically.  Have replaced the wiper switch inside the car.  No luck.  I found out this van has a Wiper Pulse Board, but location I can't find.

Hello Herman,
That board is in the square part of the wiper motor. Three torx screws take the cover off, then the board pulls out, with the harness connector.
That board is probably what you need.

I haven't worked on a Silhouette, but I would bet there is an access cover under the hood, or remove a grille across under the windshield.
I sure don't know, though.
At the public library, in the refference section, you can read and make copies of shop manuals, and Chilton or Mitchell manuals, which would contain troubleshooting, as well as repair proceedures.
Look also fot TSB's, which are technical service bullitens.
