Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Dash Lights out, dash lights, headlight switch

All of my dash lights went out (at once) on my 2001 Buck Regal. For a while they would work intermittently and I could here a clicking noise behind the radio when they went on. Turing the dome light on and off used to bring them on also.  Now they are out always and no clicking noise. Can you tell me what might be wrong?

hi bob.. well sounds like typical headlight switch this is how they go out.but first bob remove cluster un plug and plug in cluster sometimes it is just a bad connection.make sure the pins on the plug are all makeing contact.if so do the same to the head light switch if nothing works replace the switch.good luck bob.please take a sec torate my help ty billymac
