Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Fuel pump relay, fuel pump relay, fuel pump

I asked last week about a 1991 olds Cutlas Ceira  3.3 engine. You told me to pull the wires to firgure out which one was the fuel pump relay. I started it and pulled the wires out, left it out for a good minute and the car still ran. On one of the 4 when I pulled it, the rpm's actually what up almost a 1000. Put all the wires back again and yet the same problem. Will not start after siting for about 2 hours. Any more ideals. Thank you for your help.

hi bill. well let,s see.neither of these relays was the pump relay.the car would have died when the fuel pump was interupted.you have to locate this relay.here is what you do call your local dealer or better to stop bye.and ask them to look in there specifications manual .and find out the location of this relay and replace it..billymac
