how do i reset check engine light on 1999 buick lasabre ? the engine got low of oil because oil filter was leaking...

Hi Danny,
First look in the owners manual, and see if that happens to be one of the scenarios where the light will reset itself after a certain number of run cycles, such as three operation periods with the oil at the correct level.
If it isn't one that resets itself, a scan tool may be required.
But if you are certain that the low level caused the light, then correct the problem by filling the oil, and operate for a few days.
