Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: buick power windows, buick century, bright idea

Hi. 1998 Buick Century Custom My driver side rear power window stopped working yesterday. It is loose, meaning I could pull it up or push it down with my hands. My brother had the bright idea to jam it back into its track by pushing down hard on the window. Now it is stuck down. is there any way i can fix this? I assume I can take apart the door, what do you think? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

hi jen. yes the easiest way is to take door panel off .when you get in there you will prob find a broken cable this whole part could be as much as 200 00.when you get in there you will be able too raise the window againyou will be able to take a block of wood and block the window up until repairs are possible.when you put the panel back on no one will ever know lol.good luck jen.please take time to rate my service ty billymac
