Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Surges, cam sensor, driveing

1994 Olds. Silhouette Van 3.8 engine
Surges at anytime even idling.Dies occasionally We have replaced fuel filter, computer, ignition wires. We thought it was fixed with the computer but today it did it again. It's like a hic hup. The RPM's increase when it does this. Would you have any answer for us to follow?

hi thomas.well there is a few ideas first do you have a service eng lamp on while driveing.if so you have to have it checked by a technician.if this code will send you to the area of the problem.this vehicle is prone to cranksensor or cam sensor probs.but it really to me sounds like one of two things either a bad spark plug...or a plugged injector.or even a bad injector.check this stuff out and if no luck write back and let me know about the code ty please take time to rate me it is important to us.billymac
