Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 2001 Oldsmoblie Aurora Trouble, oldsmoblie, filter replacement

Problems started one week ago after oil change, air filter replacement. The following day the car cuts off at stops. The engine looses power then the RPMs jump several 1000 before cutting off. Also observed the Oil PSI surge from 22 to 100 during this sequence. Happening more frequently, having more difficulty restarting afterward. No panel lights blinking. Checked oil and transmission, no problems apparent.

hi joshua..hmmm this is unusual what we don,t know is are the problems related to the services that were done.i would have to believe that they are related.remove the air cleaner an check for any hoses thet may have fallen off or even cracked.or even sensors that may have been unplugged.and if it is intermittant i woul have to suspect a rubber vacum hose either split or collapseing .if this don,t solve your prob you will need toget it to a shop for eng diag.good luck    billymac
