94 oldsmobile achieva s,3.1 engine,won,t take jump-start,battery,starter,alternator,bench tested ..turn ignition on,dash lights turn on as normal,then turn off and car makes small clunk noise to starter,but no crank,..alternator fin movement about 1/4 inch,,if headlights turn on when attmepting to start,they also turn off when key turned to start..got stuck at wal-mart,jump-start attempts with diff vehicles,no success,tilt.steering pins came off several months ago..could i have damaged ignition switch ?

Hi Hector,
Sorry this answer is so late...I signed out on vacation, but the site doesn't seem to update all the areas I am in, even though it says it will.
Now, in case you haven't gotten it fixed yet, I would make sure the engine itself isn't locked up, by turning it over by the belt, or crankshaft.
If it can be turned over, I would try jump starting directly to the starter, to eliminate dirty battery connections.
