Plymouth Repair: Plymouth Voyager Transmission 98 or 96, plymouth voyager, reputable repair shop

Hi, not sure if I have a 96 or 98 Plymouth voyager but the car wont shift into 2nd, 3rd, 4th gear. It drives great in first as long as you don't go over 40 mph!

Before I go to a mechanic I wanted to know what you think might be wrong? Quick, cheap fix or a new transmission?

There are many conditions that could be the cause of your transmission problem. It is impossible for me to say what the transmission needs without having any diagnostic information. You will need to bring the van into a reputable repair shop that knows these transmission in order to have the problem diagnosed.
