Plymouth Repair: Plymouth Voyager Transmission problems, plymouth voyager, dollors

Question
Since the weather has gotten colder my van won't go into drive or reverse etc.. and then when it finally goes into drive and I drive a block or two then all of a sudden it's like it is in neutral it won't accerate while still in drive then it will kick into drive after a few seconds. It does this only the first 2 times I drive the van, then the rest of the day it is fine. Does this mean that the transmission is bad?
