Plymouth Repair: transmission on 1997 PLymouth Voyager, plymouth voyager, 1997 plymouth voyager

Question
I bought a second hand Plymouth Voyager 1997 with 65000 miles.  It runs great and I still have it but I learned that the transmission had been replaced at 60,000 miles. That transmission now has 55,000 miles and is starting to slowly leak and seems to be straining.  Is there some inherent problem with transmission in this make of minivan?
