Plymouth Repair: 1991 sundance, brother inlaw, gas leak

the problem first started when you drive it wouldn't be bad till the engine warmed up then it would hesitate you step on the gas and it would poke along and slowly kick in  then hesitate then go so my brother inlaw change wires and plugs and now it won't start it turns over but won't fire he can smell fuel so i don't think thats the prob.
what do you think?

you must have a gas leak tell your brother to look under the car and see if he is leaking gas and tell him to check for spark . if no spark then have him check the timeing belt could be broke . and then get back to me . good luck to u hun and u have a pretty name please rate my serivice pete
