Pontiac Repair: 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 3.8L supercharged

My D.I.C and Heater went out randomly but the buttons still illuminate but will not turn on.....Is there any way to fix/repair the issue? I've checked the fuses and they're all fine

Hi Michael.
Dic's going out on those cars were a pretty common for those they are not repairable. look for a used on at a junk yard and hope that one is a good one. as for the HVAC head not to common. I'll assum you have auto air on this being that is has a DIC. did they both quit at the same time? if they did I would kind of suspect a ground issue but if they go out or should I say went out at different times then you more then likely have a bad HVAc control head as well. those are not that common to go bad usually al that happens is the back lighting quits but the head still works OR the blower motor quits working and that is not the head that is usually the blower resistor or control or the motor control module. if it has Auto HVAc it's called a controller for the motor. if it is not auto HVAC it's called a resistor.
