Pontiac Repair: MAP sensor, g6, air intake

Question
Can you please show me where the map sensor is on a 06 G6 4 cyclinder and an 05 G6 4 cylinder? I cannot find it and the error code says it needs to be replaced. This is for my boyfriend and he isn't the brightest bulb in the lot so please if you could include a picture or diagram it would help so much. I need to get my car fix I am tired of driving his old truck. Thank you so much.

Hi sandy:

they are basically the same engine in both cars. if your standing in fron the the car looking down on the engine the air intake snorkel has to coem off and the MAP sensor is pushed onto the plastic intake on it has a single connector on it with 3 wires. good luck :-)
