Pontiac Repair: abs light, pontiac montana, resistance value

what would make abs light come on? when i restart auto light of, ride for 10 minutes it comes back on, 2000 pontiac montana van.

more then likley you have a wheel speed sensor that is going bad. usually when they are bad the light will come on right away at key on start up. one of the sensore resistance value must be right on the verge of being bad and when the heat buils up the sensor stops working and the light comes on. have the van scanned for codesd at a auto parts store to see which on it is if it's a front one you may want to replace that wheel jumper harness from the body to the sensor on that hub. good luck ;-)
