Pontiac Repair: Grand Am ABS Light, random time, wire harness

I have a 2002 Grand Am SE1. I have been having random issues with my ABS light. It happens at random time, mainly as or after i back out of a parking space. I have also noticed that it occurs quite frequently when its hot inside the car and outside. I have no clue what is causing it. It doesnt happen everytime I drive it, but its getting annoying. Please Help!

Hey Dustin:

you either have a bad wheel bearing assembly or a bad wire harness going to a wheel bearing more then likley a front bearing. stop by one of the big box stores and have the car scanned for codes, they do it for free and then you will at least know hwat side front or rear the issue is with. it's a 60/40 chance that it's either a wire harness or a hub/bearing assembly as to what the issue is. good luck :-)
