Pontiac Repair: Electrical Problems, battery cables, ground cable

I have a 2002 Grand Am and I have run into problems. When I first turn on my car and try to roll my windows down, when I press the down button on any door. My gauges, and my radio shut off and as soon as I let off of it, they come back on and often times I cant get the windows up unless I restart the car completely. Often times with this happen, the service car soon light comes on. Please help!

This ius a VERY odd issue. does it do this of every window of just 1??? I would take a long hard look at the battery and the battery cables. have the battery tested and look at all the battey cables especially the ground make sure it's not corroded and make sure the body side of the ground cable is still atatched if the battery starts to leak the acid leaks right on the body side of the cable. No if it only does this for 1 window I would suspect maybe an issue with the wiring inside on for the doors maybe a short/rubbed through wire..
