Yes we have a 2001 Pontiac sunfire and the a/c get cold but does not blow hard. We can hear the fan blowing wide open ,but it is not coming out of the vents that hard.

does it do it all the time of after a while running the air flow is restricted? if it's all the time chances are one of the foam pieces for one of the heater mode doors fell off and it restricting the air flow. usually before this happens the temp door is hard to adjust due to the foam falling off and jamming the door up. if it has a great flow to start off but as the car runs you loose air flow you have an issue with the evaporator freezing up. good luck :-}
