what it be on a left side antifreeze leak on a 1997 grand am gt 2.4 cam

Hi Brian:

left side of the car a likley cause for a coolant leak would be the water outlet neck that the upper heater hose attaches to. It's a plastic piece and fater thousands of heat cycles they warp and start to leak. pretty common. if it's more toworads the right side and near the fire wall a likley leak is the water pump.
