Pontiac Repair: 1992 Bonneville fans never spin, fuse boxes, fuse box

Question
QUESTION: Hi,
My 1992 Bonneville began running very hot and I checked the radiator and it was low. So I refilled it with coolant but the problem persists. The temp goes well above 200 about halfway or more to the red point. Finally I noticed that the two fans in the front never spin, no matter how hot it gets.
I found the 10 amp fan fuse inside the car on the driver side, but it is fine. I've read about some temperature sensor switch, but I have no idea where it is or how to replace it or even if that is the problem.
Both fans spin freely if I turn them manually, so they're not seized up or anything like that. I would think it highly unlikely that both fans would fry anyway. Maybe one, but both?
Please help me. I was laid off from my job and can barely get by on what little UI comp I receive and I definitely cannot afford a mechanic right now.
Thank you. :-)

ANSWER: Hi there:

wel lfirst off does the A?C still work on this car? if so turn the a/c on and let it run for a few minutes the pressure in the a/c system from it running should make the fans turn on. if not there for sure is an issue wither with the control of the fans or the fans them self. Check the fuses /fuseable links up on the center of the fire wall above the hetare box there is an auz fuse box there amke sure none of the links are burt or fuses. same with the fuse boxes in the car amke sure none of them are blown. That really is about as far as you can go. you will need a true scan tool to read the engine data to see if the fan control and request is there. if the engine computer is requestin the fan(S) on and they do not run it can be an issue with the engine compuyer/the fan relay(S) or the fan. Even an issue with a bad wire connetion. ther are way to many part to the system to just say Yup this is what is bad. Good luck :)

QUESTION: Wow thanks for the speedy reply! :-)
Well it has A/C, but it doesn't work. I think that's because the compressor is bad but I don't know. I bought this car used a year ago and it has never worked. The care runs really well though otherwise and is in surprisingly good shape for a car this old.
I will check the other things you mentioned such as the fusable links. I don't have the manual for this car though, so do you know where I can find pictures or diagrams of these parts?
Thanks again. :-)

Answer
the under hood fuses/fusable links ate mounted right on the fir wall above the heater box there are 2 plastic covers I belive over them take the covers off to acces the fuses. the dash has a fuse box on the left side near the steering column and I belive ther is an aux. fuse box under the glove box.. Not 100% sure on those older one It's  been a long time since I worked on one of those older ones. the covers on the fuse box(S) in the car are marked as to what the fuses are for. the fuseable links are not marked but when they are bad they looke burnt just gently tug on each wire and see if any of then are broken when they burn up just the rubber insulation is holding the wire together.
