Pontiac Repair: Where is my computer, pontiac fiero, injector pulse

QUESTION: Computer location on a 2.5l mid engine in a Pontiac Fiero 1984

ANSWER: It's between the seats behind the glove compartment mounted on the fire wall between the engine compartment and the cabin. It's a big silver box with 2 wire connectors going into it.

QUESTION: My car is refusing to fire from the distributor cap and we checked it and the button and they seem to be ok and we are getting fire on the injector so I am wondering why the injector is not releasing the gas and the injector is new and working so it gets me to wondering if the wiring to the distributor is not right what do you think

well Jessie. the dirstributor is the trigger for both injector pulse and for spark. The most liley cause if you have neither is either a wiring issue to the distributor or one of the components in the distributor is bad. either the ignition module or the pick up coil. the pick up coil should have between 800-1200 Ohms resiatnce if it well above or well below replace it. the Module you can test it's a bit of a crap shoot but they are cheap..
