Tractor Repair: clutch repair, clutch repair, broken spring

Question
I have a model MF3165ut S/n sdm647000153. The cluch pedel is on the bottom and will not come up.  I looked in the inspection hole under a plate on the undrside of the bell housing and found one of the two springs that let the peddle come up and release the cluch broke not letting the cluth troughot bearing go in or out.  My question is :  Can youa get to the cluch from the top side as there is no space in the bottom inspection hole to replace the spring and try to get the throwout beaing to move on the shaft?. I do not want to seperate the frount from the back.  I looked and it looks like the gear transmission cover where the shift lever sits can be removed and it has a  plaaate in frount of it thatcovers the cluch housing.  Itlooks like this can be removed after removing the steering box that is over this cover.  any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks Pat

Answer
Pat I do not think the broken spring is your problem with the pedal not returning if it is all the way down I feel that it is deeper in the clutch area.
May be worn fingers on the pressure plate or boken pressure plate springs.
I really think you will need to split it to do it propperly Pat.
