im trying to pull off my crankpulley and i cant get the nut off without the pulley spinning.how do i stop it from turning without breaking something

Hi Jason:
there is a special Flywheel holding tool that locks into the gear on the fly wheel and stops the crank from turning while you loosen the crank retaing bolt. if you had an Air impact gun it would take the bolt right off with out the aid of the holding tool. Good luck :)
