Pontiac Repair: trans sport stalling out, flood cars, load sensors

Question
I have a 1995 Trans Sport 3.1. Bought it not running. It was flooding out badly. I have changed every sensor including the dist. And the engine computer. Now it will start right up and idle beautifully but stalls out if you give it any throttle at all. The  spray pattern from the injectors looks normal now and not flooding as far as i can tell. Im ready to burn it. Any help? When you give it throttle it just bogs down and stalls out.

Answer
Hi Jon:
a few things to look at fuel pressure and volume. if there is not enough pressure or volume it will stall off idle. If the timing is off that will do it. you replaced the distributor and if you didn't time it right that will do it you need to take the electronic advance out of the loop and time it. look at the under hood lable it will explain the timing procedure along with the correct setting. With out the aid of a true scan tool your just fighting a loosing batlle here you need to see what the sensors are doing. the primary "load" sensors are the MAP and TP sensors. so if either of them are acting up it will cause a hesitation and or stall. Flood cars and lightning strike cars are a night mare!
Good luck :)
