About how expensive is it to replace upper strut mounts on a 2005 Pontica G6 if a mechanic does it. (Don't want to get ripped off) Thanks Paulette

well I'm not sure how expensice the part is but as far as labor goes figure 2.5 hours or so at what ever the shop rate is per hour. And on top of that the car will need a 4 wheel alignment due to the fact that the front suspension is taken apart. uaually a 4 wheel alignment is just under $100.00.  Hope that help you out.

Just as an FYI on those cars there are a LOT of suspension pieces that acn go bad not just the mounts. Steering gear/Ball joints and stabalizer bar links are all known to go bad on those you may have more then one issue going on with your car is it is a noise you are chasing.
