Pontiac Repair: emanation system, obd ii code reader, rodent damage

Question
Hi,
I have a 2007 Chevy cobalt 2.4L and I have my check engine light on. The OBD-II code reader tell my that this is an big evaporative leak(P0455). It is not my fuel tank cap, I searched for hose leak near the canister and the vent/purge solenoid. I foung nothing! can it be solenoid malfunction? or what could it be?
Thanks a lot for your answer

Answer
Hi there:

Usually it's 2 of t things either the gas cap is loos like you said it's not it's the seal on the cap is bad or the vent valve is bad. not too ofen on these cars that it is anything other then those to things. BUT i have see rodent damage to the wires under the hoos and under the carf where wires are chewed up and broken. That is a long shot. Good luck :)
