Pontiac Repair: engine disabled, 2006 pontiac g6, pontiac g6

I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 V6 3.5l. For several weeks, I have been having a problem with my car shutting down both while idling and while driving. The check engine light comes on along with 'engine power reduced' displayed on the dash screen. This is immediately followed by 'engine disabled' on the dash screen. I have to put the car in park, wait usually about a min, then turn the ignition twice to start it up again. It has happened up to 12 times in a single day. Code reader read error at 2 different places

Does this car have a sun roof? If so there is a good chance of a water leak into the car and onto the connector on the left side of the dash where the gas pedal attaches to the dash harness. pretty common on that car.
The reduced engine power lamp is on due to a TAC issue either the gas peadal or the throttle body on the engine that will also cause a stall issue as well. Stop by one of the big box auto parts stores and get teh car scanned for codes and see what code(S) are stored and that will give you a stating point. Good luck :)
