trac sensor fight comes on , but goes out after restarting the engine.
I feel no difference in transmission when it lights so i don't think that it actually activates any change.

Hi Stanley:

there is an issue with the anti-lock brakes. more then likley with a wheel speed sensor the antilock brkaes are paired in with the engine control system to give the car low speed traction control thus the trac lamp on. eventually the ABS lamp will come on as well. usually the issue is with one of the front ones or even the jumper wire harness that goes along the suspension to attach the speed sensor to the car harness. Pretty common with that car. If it has been on long enough it may have set a code. stop by one of the big box car parts stores and have then scan the car for codes and see what code(s) are stored and that will give you a place to start looking.
