Pontiac Repair: Relaced a 2006 G6 door with a G5, Window Problem, striaght, g6

When I replaced the G6 passenger door with a used G5 door, I had to keep the original wiring harness from the G6. Got it all working except for the window. Only adjusts for an open door situation but does not correct when closed and it does not participate with the other windows, when the folding top is lowered and raised. It does work from the switches on the doors, but missing a link to the computer somehow.

Okay let me get this striaght you have a 2006 G6 convertable that you put a door for a G5 on? the g5 door has a frame all the way around it a G6 convertable or couple has just the glass sticking out of the top of the door How did that work for you???? That aside the window motors are Different on these cars the motor for a sedan/coupe G6 had a motor module a G5 has just a motor. the module receives a BCM input to drop the windows when the door is unlatched or when the convertable top is lowered.
