i just bought the car 2 days ago and i noticed the check engine light is on and when i turned the heat on and started driving after a while the car would shut off but it turn right back on and also when i come to a stop then start driving the car jerks a little what is wrong with my car please tell me its not a major issue?

the service engine soon lamp being on can be just about anything. Ther are literally hundreds of trouble codes that can be stored in these cars. Go to one of the big box auto parts stores and have them scan the car for codes untill you know what the code is I can't even beging to guess what the issue here is. The probelm comming to a stop could be related to the lamp being on or not.
