Question

Answer
Hi there:

well first off is the coolant leak(S) fixed? if not then  if there are air pockets in the cooling system do to low coolant it will continue to overheat. when you say over heat it may not actaully be to the point where the second fan nees to turn on. Usually the second fans on cars doesn't turn on untill around 230 degrees. that said ther may not be an issue with the second fan. I would however checlk all the fuses in the underhood fuse blocks. What engine is in this 3100 or 3400? as for the blower motor cuttin in and out It would look for a loose connection at the fan motor or the blower resistor. Or you have a bad fan motor and when you hit a bump in the road it jars it enough to start running again.
Good luck :)
