Pontiac Repair: 2007 Pontiac Gran Prix remote enty question, pontiac gran prix, keyless entry system
QuestionHello! I have a 2007 Pontiac Gran Prix. The engine is the standard non-supercharged 3.8 six cylinder.The car also has a factory installed remote start system.
On the keyless entry system,all of the functions work,except the "lock" feature. This problem is the same for both of the OEM remotes. As you know, I cannot access the remote start feature without pressing the "lock" button first.Any suggestions?

super common issue with those remotes 99% of the time both remotes are bad. as long as the doors lock from the inside door lock switch then the issue is that both remotes are bad. If the door locs will not lock from either inside switched on the doors then there is some sore of a body control module issue going on. good luck :)
