Pontiac Repair: 98 bonneville, spark tester, safety interlock

98 bonneville. Changed safety neutral switch but car still will start and instantly cut off in park. If I shift to neutral it starts and stays with no problem

I have no idea why is will not stay running in park but it will in Neutral. The Park safety switch will not have any effect with it running it is just for crank or no crank safety interlock. you have to see what your loosing when it stalls out. Spark or fuel pressure put a gauge on it and what the pressure. and a spark tester on one of the plug wires and see what your loosing. with out knoing wich thing it's lacking it's just a guess.
