Honda: Acura Integra gsr 1996, acura integra gsr, loose bolts

Question
Barrett,

I have a 1996 Acura Integra GSR 4 door sedan.  I bought it from my brother in law that took very good care of it.  He told me he doesnt think he ever redlined it.  Anyway, I have noticed a vibration since I bought it.  It seems to be under the driver side of the car.  I can hear it and feel it a little.  It seems to happen around 35-40 thousand RPMs.  It doesnt vibrate til it warms up a bit.  I have tried to figure out what it was and all I could see from looking under the vehicle and removing the exaust system is the oil pan had some loose bolts so i tightened them hoping it would fix it.  That wasnt the problem.  I also know it isnt the exaust system shields.  That was the first thing I checked and they are all solid.  Do you have any idea what this could be?  I would apreciate any ideas.
Thanks,

Andy

Answer
There is a group of guys on the Integra forum at www.superhonda.org that is dealing with what sounds like the same problem.

Seems to be an issue with the a-pipe in your exhaust system.  That's right ahead of the catalytic converter.

Hope I helped.
